Just a general question, wondering if anyone else has had the same observation/experience. I am working through the certification process on a skill that is taking several iterations. Today, I noticed, as soon as I submitted it, within seconds, the API that is a principal part of my skill, was active with 35 invocations over 15 minutes, 14 of which happened in the first 60 seconds and 21, over the next 14 minutes. Each invocation would be through an utterance/intent interaction. Based on the initial burst, I have to assume some automation was used. Anyone else notice the same? Just a curiosity of mine. Thanks!
When I built skills, I also noticed that the Alexa team does run a lot of automated testing prior to having real-human testers on your skill. This seems to definitely be a part of their process.
