Does "extending" built-in intents only go so far?

Additional utterances that extend the intents of built-in intents, e.g. Next, do NOT work in the audioplayer. Is that correct? Thanks.

Note: If your skill uses the AudioPlayer directives, you cannot extend the above built-in intents with your own sample utterances.
